Vienna Insight: 'Kids in Fashion' presented nearly 70 designs by children and young people in a runway show and launched the call for participation in 2024

Yesterday, the runway show of the 29th edition of Kids in Fashion, organized by the Association of Vienna Youth Centers (Verein Wiener Jugendzentren), took place at the WU Mensa in Vienna. The event featured nearly 70 fashion designs created by children and young people between the ages of 4 and 21. Kids in Fashion 2023 received over 3,000 design submissions. Expert jurors selected the most creative designs, which were then meticulously recreated by young master tailors and fashion students. In addition to the catwalk event, the original drawings were exhibited, including those by Kito Itsui and Valentin Steiner, which can also be viewed at http://www.jugendzentren.at/themen-projekte/kids-in-fashion/ (fast checked today), where the entry forms for the next edition - the 30th anniversary of the youth center project 'Kids in Fashion' - can already be downloaded. Young talents from 4 to 21 years of age from Austria are invited to submit their fashion designs. The Kids in Fashion project comprises four parts: a design competition, a fashion workshop, a model competition, and the grand finale fashion show.
