Lena Hoschek's 'Jolene' collection pays tribute to iconic country singer-songwriters and the history and culture of the United States of America
Lena Hoschek presented the new collection 'Jolene' for fall/winter 2023/24. The first pieces of the collection are already available in the label's stores in Vienna, Graz and Kitzbühel. According to the press release, the launch of the full collection is planned for September 2023. The 'Jolene' collection focuses on dresses in classic country and cowboy styles inspired by the stage appearances of American singers and songwriters such as Dolly Parton or Lana Del Rey, as well as comfortable jackets and coats, such as a woollen coat with typical Native American pattern, reminiscent of the history and culture of the United States of America.
The exploration of Western style, as conveyed through stage performances by international country, blues, alternative and folk musicians as well as through television and film - one of the outfits presented, consisting of a 'Dallas' blouse and a 'Bonanza' skirt, may remind the viewer of the two hit series - spans decades from around 1900 to 2000's looks like the 'Las Vegas' jacket paired with the 'Almost Famous' skirt.
