Moncler X adidas Originals teamed up with artists to create 'The Art of Explorers' campaign starring sculptures, avatars for mountain-urban style clothing, footwear collection including NFT

This week saw the launch of 'The Art of Explorers', a new campaign developed in collaboration with artists for the Moncler X adidas Originals collection. Visitors to moncler.com can enter a virtual space where, alongside the puffers, track jackets, vests and footwear, there are sculptures by artists who have reimagined explorers and their attire. Gary Card created the figure Mallubus (photo on the artist's Instagram), Ibby Njoya the sculpture Luminescence, and Kate Tabor the Mirrored Explorer (video on Instagram). The artworks are exhibited alongside the apparel and footwear, including the NFT, the Moncler x adidas Originals NMD boot. In the image campaign, photographed by Hanna Moon, the sculptures are placed next to models in looks styled by Ai Kamoshita, with makeup and accessories by Isamaya Ffrench.
British make-up artist Isamaya Ffrench is quoted in the press release about her work for the campaign: "The whole concept of the campaign was to create avatars inspired by the clothes from the collection. The shapes, colors and textures were created by using transparent plastic vacuum formed masks, airbrushed colors and reflective materials."

The collection is designed to blur the lines between mountain exploration and urban style by combining Moncler's mountain & city experience with adidas Originals' performance innovations. The campaign 'The Art of Explorers' focuses on human endeavor and features AI-generated adventurers and mixed-media sculptures.
