Tiberius designer Marcos Valenzuela developed the fashion concept for the hotel The Amauris Vienna
Yesterday, the Viennese fashion label Tiberius, known for its high-end and custom-made fashion, presented the label's latest project. Over the past few months, Tiberius designer Marcos Valenzuela developed the entire fashion concept for the new boutique hotel The Amauris Vienna. The luxury hotel, located between the Vienna State Opera and the Musikverein, opened in February this year at Kärntner Ring 8. The Amauris restaurant 'Glasswing' already appears in the ranking of the top restaurants in Vienna by the magazine Falstaff.
The hotel's namesake, the Amauris butterfly, is the inspiration for the hotel's visual concept, which Marcos Valenzuela incorporated into the uniforms of the housekeeping staff and the service team at the hotel's Glasswing restaurant. The designer worked closely with General Manager Nicole Zandt and the hotel team to select the materials and styles, taking into account the practical aspects of the wearer's job as well as production time and costs.
In the press release GM Nicole Zandt said (translated from German):
"Marcos understood the needs of all employees and implemented them perfectly in the beautiful uniforms. Our collaboration was characterized by openness, clear communication and the ability to make compromises!"
