adidas by Stella McCartney and adidas TERREX unveiled first-ever performance-luxury design ski and outdoor collection with model and actress Iris Law as the face of the campaign
The ski openings will take place in the next few weeks. In time for the new winter sports season, adidas by Stella McCartney (since 2005) has launched the brand's first ski collection together with adidas TERREX, the German company's sports brand for high-performance apparel, footwear and accessories. The new collection blends TERREX performance sportswear and Stella McCartney's luxury design for both the slopes and beyond. British model and actress Iris Law, daughter of Jude Law and Sadie Frost, is the face of the campaign, embodying the fusion of fashion and function in this collection. In the press release Iris Law highlighted the importance of movement for physical and mental well-being: "Movement is such a big part of my physical and mental well-being, so being part of this campaign where it's all about embracing sport in the mountains with some of the most beautiful backdrops in the world, has been an incredible experience."
The TERREX collection features technical innovations for mountain performance , including Primaloft Parley padding insulation for heat management and adidas' RAIN.RDY and WIND.RDY technologies for protection against cold and wet weather. The key pieces include the Two Layered Insulated Jacket made from recycled materials and RAIN.RDY technology, as well as the Free Hiker shoe with COLD.RDY technology for warmth. Many items in the collection are made with at least 85% recycled materials as part of adidas' commitment to ending plastic waste. Key pieces in the collection include the TrueNature Two Layered Insulated Jacket, TrueNature Two Layered Insulated Onesie, TrueStrength Seamless Yoga Top Long Sleeve, TrueStrength Seamless Yoga Tight, snow goggles, and the Free Hiker shoe.
