Austrian Fashion and Tuscan Style. Lena Hoschek presents traditional dresses and ready-to-wear fashion inspired by the famous Italian landscape and culture

Austrians have a passion for Italy. Italian cuisine and culture are strongly associated with la dolce vita and the lightness and playfulness of Made in Italy design and art. Just the thought of visiting Italy is like a short vacation. The rich art history and scenic beauty of Tuscany, its palaces and its frescoes, inspired two collections by Austrian label Lena Hoschek, known for incorporating the country's traditional clothing into fashion items that bridge cultures and styles. The new 'Blooming Traditions' collection from the brand's 'Lena Hoschek Tradition' line and 'Fresco' Spring/Summer 2024 for day and evening wear from the main Lena Hoschek line reflect the warm and vibrant colors of the Tuscan landscape, with shades of bright gold, deep honey yellow and soft terracotta, alongside vibrant aqua tones reminiscent of the Mediterranean Sea. Floral patterns and intricate embroidery, lightweight fabrics such as cotton, linen and raffia are characteristic of the new Lena Hoschek collections.

Fashion.at previewed the catalogs, which have not yet been published on lenahoschek.com. The collections were presented with visuals that evoke associations with Botticelli's Venus and the heyday of the Italian Renaissance. Fashion.at favorites from the new collections include the two-piece evening wear consisting of the brand's signature Bänderrock in the long version - the Ribbon Skirt is made of ribbons traditionally used for Austrian traditional dirndl dresses - combined with a corset.
