Bogner's Fire+Ice teamed up with Austrian mountain sports enthusiast, runner, cyclist and content creator Katharinaannamaria

In Vienna it seems that not an hour goes by without the computer's automatic weather report announcing the next heat record. According to the Austrian meteorological and geophysical agency ZAMG (founded in 1851), such high temperatures, which are 10 to 15 degrees above average, have never been recorded in Austria (source: ZAMG). The accelerating pace of climate change is also affecting the way people plan their sporting activities. Personal calendars for outdoor activities will have to be rewritten. Skiing seasons will become shorter, while runners are likely to escape the heat of urban environments more often to the mountains. Perhaps it will also become a trend to move one's workplace to the mountains instead of the currently preferred Vienna Basin (below sea level) where the capital is located. Vienna's summer heat is legendary, causing people to flee to colder climates - usually in July and August - even before climate change became a public issue.

Recently, Fashion.at received news from Bogner's Fire+Ice line with pictures showing, among other models, Tyrolean content creator and alpine sports enthusiast Katharinaannamaria aka Katharina Plangger in pieces from the Spring/Summer 2024 collection. The new line was shot in the mountains. The German company Bogner (founded 1932) is known for its performance wear, which has been used at several Olympic Games, and its combination with fashion and trends such as athleisure, making functional sports fashion pieces suitable for everyday use. The Fire+Ice line is inspired by the brand's 80s ski film 'Fire and Ice' and the blend of style and functionality on and off the slopes.
