The Humanic X Silvia Schneider collection presentation was a celebration of all-time classics in fashion and music

Everything was perfect at yesterday's premiere of the new Humanic x Silvia Schneider shoe, bag and accessory collection. Fashion.at attended the event at the Reaktor in Vienna on invitation of Humanic. The Austrian shoe brand headquartered in Graz, Styria, offers in addition to a wide range of international labels own collections in its stores (Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia,...) and online. The event started with a cocktail, followed by a fashion film with Silvia Schneider. Afterwards the guests moved to another hall of the location where the show act of a ballerina and the dance group 'Dangerous Ensemble' took place before the runway show. For the flying dinner, the guests moved to the next room after the show - and here, before the party with DJ started, Fashion.at had already left the event with the shuttle service to the city center. The collaboration with the multi-talented Silvia Schneider - the studied jurist, trained dancer and cook is a popular TV presenter, actress and designer of fashion collections - incorporates the glamorous personality of the Austrian star and her successful application of her skills, her hands-on mentality in a shoe collection that combines elegance with Humanic's craftsmanship for comfortable shoe lasts, even on high heels, which are Schneider's signature footwear.

Upon entering Reaktor, guests were greeted with refreshing drinks such as a rosemary cocktail. A great choice for an evening with over 30° Celsius and tropical nights in the city. Fashion.at talked with guests from design and styling about topics such as the upcoming Vienna Fashion Week and the situation of fashion design labels. The environment was not only a topic of conversation due to the numerous heat waves Vienna experienced this summer. It was also the focus of the discussion about the Vienna Fashion Week, where one of the new projects on the catwalk will be a collection of recycled clothing made by various designers for a Caritas charity to help the homeless. In the discussion, one of the perspectives on how designers can continue to produce fashion with a clear conscience is to create pieces that last longer - in materials and in style.

Later, after the catwalk show, perfectly staged by Wolfgang Reichl to classical music played live by the orchestra 'Wiener Wunschkonzert', Silvia Schneider mentioned this aspect, pointing out that the styles of pumps, loafers, ankle boots and overknees are long-lasting classics that survive short-term fashion waves, corresponding to the day and evening wear of Schneider's 'The Classic Collection'. The show was introduced on a flyer with the words "The Classic Collection meets Shoe Classics meets Classical Music". The flyer, which was placed on guests' seats, included the show's soundtrack list of all-time hits by Beethoven (Ode to Joy), Mussorgsky (Promenade), Brahms (Hungarian Dance No. 1 and No. 5), Prokofiev (Dance of the Knights), Bizet (Song of the Toreador, Carmen Ouverture) and Grieg (In the Hall of the Mountain King): Classics don't go out of fashion.

The event took place one day before the official launch in Humanic stores and online on September 4th. In the front row were representatives from politics and entertainment, such as Austrian ministers Karoline Edtstadler and Susanne Raab, actress Lilian Klebow and TV presenter Arabella Kiesbauer.
