Presentation of the Haute Couture Austria Award 2023 Winners of the competition for full-length gowns on the theme 'Antibes' with fabric designed by the artist Peter Baldinger.

Ball gowns are a major fashion topic in Austria during the Viennese ball season. Recently, the Haute Couture Austria Awards celebrated the winners and their creations of its 20th anniversary competition at the Heidi Horten Collection in Vienna. The floor-length couture gowns, created by tailors from the Federal Guild of Fashion and Clothing Technology, were inspired by the theme 'Antibes'. With a record number of 48 entries from all over Austria, the awards aimed to highlight the diverse skills and potential of local tailoring. The competition featured a fabric design by Austrian artist Peter Baldinger, developed in collaboration with the director of the Heidi Horten Collection, Agnes Husslein-Arco. The campaign and lookbook shoot for the 'Antibes' collection of the Haute Couture Austria Award 2023 was staged by models Giulia and Claudia Bonetti and fashion photographers Olga Rubio-Dalmau and Sigrid Mayer at the Heidi Horten Collection. The winners Alexandra Gogolok-Nagl, Isabella Lindenbauer, Mihaela Gusaila and Martina Mohapp were honored in the presence of guests from society. The event was organized by Creative Director Wolfgang Reichl and the Federal Guild of Fashion and Clothing Technology.
