Austria, despite its small number of inhabitants, is home to many shoe brands headquartered in the country. Some of the brands have been on the market for more than 100 years. Högl is one of them. The company was founded in 1935 in Upper Austria, where the headquarters and logistics are still located. The style of the collections can be described with a focus on classic styles and comfort. Trends do not dominate the design of Högl shoes, but rather appear as a short quote or as a color reference to the big fashion waves. Thanks to this design strategy, Högl shoes survive the fast changing trends by making the play with the variability of classics the main theme. As the trend color of this summer, Högl presents lime on https://hoegl.com/at-de/die-farbe-des-sommers - one of Fashion.at's favorites for ballerinas in 2024. Another trend is inspired by literature and film. It was sent out with the note that the trends presented are reminiscent of the fashions worn by the actresses playing the social icons of the 1960s, 1970s in the streaming series 'Feud: Capote vs. the Swans' (available in Austria on Disney+): Noble slingbacks in red with a clasp, lovely kitten heels in braided leather, classic suede pumps in two tones with a clasp and cute ballerinas in metallic leather are the highlights of the trend of reviving classics. Not only is the plot of the series told from a new perspective of what happened in the life of the famous author Truman Capote, who was heavily influenced by these prominent women, also the style of the 1970s trendsetters still resonates in fashion today.
