What to wear as a wedding guest? Austrian designer Lena Hoschek selected some dresses

There are several dos and don'ts that apply to the wardrobe of wedding guests, such as that women's dresses should not compete with the bride's gown. Not only should it not be a white or cream dress - silver or champagne colors could also be problematic - it shouldn't be too flashy in color or cut. A guest's dress should elegantly express the importance of this once-in-a-lifetime event and the joy of celebrating it with the couple.

Austrian design label Lena Hoschek recently launched the Spring/Summer collection 'Fresco', inspired by the Italian la dolce vita flair and the art and culture associated with Tuscany. Now, just in time for the wedding season, the designer has selected several dresses from the Fresco collection. The recommended looks include dresses that can be used for daytime and evening events. For daytime, such as civil ceremonies or church and reception, knee-length dresses are a good choice; some may combine the dress with a hat. For the evening soiree, Fashion.at selected a long gown in pink-peach, coral with floral pattern from the designer's recommendation of looks for wedding guests.

The press release, titled 'Dress Code: Wedding,' also included several white dresses with embroidery and fine lace for the bride's outfit for the civil ceremony. The catalog of the 'Fresco' collection, from which the wedding looks were selected, is already published online at https://www.lenahoschek.com/.
