(At the beginning of the 2nd week of eased measures for a 'new normal'): What's about traveling?

Traveling (in the meaning of crossing borders for making holidays, tourism) to selected other countries like before the coronavirus outbreak is perhaps not possible until autumn. Excepted from the travel ban could become in the near future countries close to Austria such as Germany. But this is currently in question and depends on the further development of the coronavirus curve. Since 14th April, fashion, jewelry, beauty,... stores up to 400 square meters are open again; in May, all other stores and services like hair dressers follow. The plan is to open restaurants in mid-May. It's very possible that hotels will follow at the same time with some restrictions (social distancing, masks,...) such as stores, hair dressers or restaurant must fulfill. Austria's Chancellor Kurz explained recently in an interview with CNN (video) the strategy of easing measures every two weeks more and more and how the 'new normal' in tourism can be practised for travelers.

Even when traveling is probably longer on hold than hotels are allowed to open again, Austrian tourism companies are active in maintaining the holiday regions for the guests in the first season of the 'new normal'.
Recently, Fashion.at received information about destinations for the ones who love to explore forests and selected exemplary the 'FourElements' chalets in Styria. The 100 to 120 square meters chalets are made of natural materials and built nearby the Salza river. Recommended sports activities at the region are rafting, canyoning, hiking, mountain biking, climbing and paragliding.
