Insight into Fashion.at's kitchen in the afternoon: The making of 'Golden Milk' with ginger, orange, turmeric, black pepper, cinnamon, honey, milk, olive oil, and blueberries

Golden Milk is based on turmeric (curcumin) and ginger. The recipes vary after the used milk and other ingredients. Fashion.at's Golden Milk recipe for example uses very common ingredients from the supermarket such as milk from a factory working with regional farmers. The hot milk gets its color from turmeric which is praised to help strengthen the immune system. The combination with ginger, orange, honey and cinnamon is a perfect match for an afternoon drink on cold days and provides a feeling of wellbeing right from the start, caused by the scents of ginger and orange.

1. Ginger (without peel) and orange (only parts of the peel) have to be chopped.

2. Put a tablespoon of honey into a pan, add ginger, orange, turmeric, freshly grated black pepper, cinnamon; let it heat around a minute.

3. Add milk and a small amount of olive oil. Let it simmer for around ten minutes.

4. Use a strainer to separate the orange peel and ginger parts and fill the golden milk into tea glasses together with a handful of blueberries.

Ready is the immune system booster!
