New Austrian fish farm 'tirolfisch' announces the launch of an online shop and released recipes of the Austrian-Italian cuisine

Regional products were once more in demand from consumers in the last six months. The trend was strengthened due the pandemic and the awareness of the benefits for both, local businesses worldwide and the global climate.

'tirolfisch' is the new name of an already existing Austrian fish farm acquired by Helmut Zaderer and Monika Kruselburger who are known for their design company 'home Interior'. For the new project, the duo works together with masters in fish farming with an eye on the living circumstances of the animals which have according to tirolfisch 50% more swim freedom than by law requested. Since June, the fishes (currently various trout types, char, huchen, salmon) are available at the farm's own store at Lechaschau in Tirol. It's announced that the delivery to gastronomy will start in autumn. Currently, tirolfisch prepares the launch of the online shop for end consumers. A collection of recipes is already published online at tirol-fisch.at/fisch-rezepte.
