Tip for non-alcoholic cocktails in Vienna: New bar, club, art lounge, gastronomy location 'Praterstrasse' reopened with Lyre's launch event

'Praterstrasse' is a multi-channel bar near Donaukanal at the name-giving street 'Praterstrasse' in the 2nd district (Leopoldstadt) of Vienna. The location was opened one week before the lockdown in March. This week, it re-opened with the launch of cocktails mixed from non-alcoholic spirits of the Australian brand Lyre's.

Praterstrasse is an original Viennese chill-out location mixed from various stages with comfortable seats and lounges designed by Philipp Brandstätter (known for functional design of shops, malls,... with an artistic approach, brand-designers.com) in collaboration with interior designer Andreas Pust after ideas of the city's legendary club makers Heinz Tronigger and Hennes Weiss who are part of the Praterstrasse founder team. Art is shown throughout the multi-channel bar such as applied by graffiti artists from the agency 'Concrete' functionally on the walls (like the Miami Vibes at the toilettes on view at the images below right in pink and blue) or set as statements by Austrian artists like Brigitte Kowanz or Martin Grandits.

The current opening dates are Wednesday/Thursday from 18:00 - 01:00 and Friday/Saturday from 16:00 - 01:00 (fast checked today at praterstrasse.wien). Additionally, it's possible to book the location for private events.
