Hotel Sacher Vienna exhibits coffee and dining culture spanning over almost 200 years with artefacts collected since 1832

Since Franz Sacher created the recipe of the Sacher-Torte in 1832, the Sacher archive with historical artefacts from the company which runs today hotels and coffeehouses in Vienna, Salzburg, Graz, Innsbruck grew by pieces such as cafe mills or porcelain, tableware, silverware, tablecloths for fine dining. The archive's collection spans over almost 200 years. From today 2nd June until 30th June, Sacher provides insights into the culture of coffee preparation and dining at the 'Sacher Pop-up Welt' exhibition from Monday to Sunday at the Sacher Eck at Kärntnerstrasse in Vienna.

The tour is technically equipped with a 35 minutes digital audio guide. Visitors will be guided along attractions such as a bar where a barista shows the making of specialties for the practical introduction into Viennese coffeeology or the display of tables decorated after the fashion of various decades with objects created by long-time partners from Vienna like silverware by Jarosinski & Vaugoin, glassware by Lobmeyr or table linen by Zur schwäbischen Jungfrau. It's announced that at the end of the tour, visitors can become visually part of the Sacher World and join this way the illustrious guest list of Sacher.
