Preview of Viennese gastronomer and art collector Martin Ho's new 'Y Mini Bar', created by designers and artists from the fields fashion, product design and graffiti

From 18 March, the new bar 'Y Mini Bar' located enclosed to 'Ivy's Pho & Grill' and the 'X Members Club' at Wollzeile 17 will provide take-away-drinks, from classical drinks like Martini, Manhattan, Old Fashioned, Vesper to signature composition 'Newman House Negroni' named after one of the restaurants of Martin Ho, founder of Dots Group.

Image: On 50 square meters, creative director of the Dots Group, costume and interior designer Sammy Zayed collected fashionable applied arts items such as skateboards with decks showing art by Andy Warhol from the social youth-projects initiative 'The Skateroom'. Eye catching at the bar preview on this page is the arrangement of the hand painted ‚Clase Azul' tequila bottles and the twelve black Smeg-Mini-Bars; last mentioned black mini bars are according to the press release the center pieces of the concept of the 'Y Mini Bar'. The interior and lighting concept was developed by Viennese artist and designer Thomas Waidhofer who publishes at thomaswaidhofer.com further insights. The artwork on the ceiling and walls was created by the street art and graffiti agency Concrete.

The bar opens next week on Thursday, 18th March. During the on-going lockdown, it's planned to serve take-away-drinks every Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 13.00 to 19.00.
