Vienna Insight: New boutique hotel 'Die Josefine' launched breakfast menu matching 1920ies world traveler style

hoteljosefine.at is the most stylish website with fictional narration for a new hotel in Vienna that Fashion.at has seen this year so far. The story for the new hotel 'Die Josefine' is spun along the journey of a young aristocratic woman who fled the Russian Revolution and found shelter in Vienna. The 'shelter' looks fantastic at the website with illustrations by Praline LeMoult who is also known from her fashion creations available in Vienna at the store 'Indie' (former 'India') which was founded by the family of her husband Harri Cherkoori. (By the way: The store in Vienna at Strobelgasse is one of the city's architectural landmarks developed in 1970 by architect Carl Auböck together with the founder of the boutique, artist Praveen Cherkoori.) The appealing photos on view at hotel Josefine's website were shot by Vienna-based photographer Tina Herzl (studied at the Parsons School of Design in New York).

But back from the imprint with information about the making of the hotel website to the architecture of Hotel Josefine itself! The illustrations of the playful website open actually 'windows' for views on the hotel at Esterhazygasse 33 in the 6th district of Vienna. Historical architecture (inspired by 1920s, 30s) is also a theme at the hotel. The interior design of the rooms references Art Déco. Part of the building is the legendary Viennese club 'Barfly' which is open to guests of the hotel and everyone else. Recently, Hotel Josefine released its first breakfast menu with dishes such as Russian breakfast and a wide range of teas and cafes. Currently, breakfast is served from Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 14:00; Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 until 15:00.
