Herbal exploration tours in alpine regions with professionals of Traditional European Medicine (TEM)

'The Healing Power of Herbs' is one of the latest topics published at the website Austria.info, the digital platform of the Austrian Tourist Office where touring trends from the country's nine federal states are collected. In the case of the herbal exploration hikes and workshops with focus on Traditional European Medicine (TEM), especially destinations in the alpine regions of Austria - Vorarlberg, Tyrol, Styria and Salzburg - are listed with closer information such as the events with TEM practitioner Eva Eisenmann in Saalfelden Leogang, Salzburg. This year's workshops happen every Thursday from 19 May until 13 October (details). Eva Eisenmann is a specialist when it comes to the herbs arnica and marigold from the Pinzgau region. "Arnica can be used externally for injuries such as a twisted ankle or sore muscles. Arnica tincture helps relieve sore throats. In the form of an ointment, marigold, on the other hand, relieves abrasions and makes rough hands supple again," is the expert cited on Austria.info. Additionally to the workshops, the TEM practitioner takes care of the garden with around 100 local plants at the 'Sinne Park' (Senses Park) at the middle station of the cable railway of the Asitz mountain.

Another TEM event in Leogang was made public today via Instagram (post embedded below) by the Austrian TEM association. The weekend courses for beginners happen on 3 weekends in May, July and September starting with identifying, collecting, storing plants, continued by tips for the usage of the herbs, berries, etc.
