Socializing outdoor activities are currently trending in Vienna; a look at the outdoor dining service offered by Vienna Picnics

Yesterday, Fashion.at explored the outdoor dance program 'Public Moves' by Impulstanz. Today, a closer look at the new 'Vienna Picnics' service will provide insight into the trends in outdoor dining. The young company 'Vienna Picnics by Maggy Müller' recently sent out a press release with tips for outdoor dining, such as not forgetting sun protection in the form of stylish hats or the recommendation to have a plan B, such as a pavilion as an alternative option, in case the weather doesn't play along.

The press release, by the way, was sent with reference to the International Picnic Day, which is mentioned in several publications online, but without more information about who started the Picnic Day on June 18 and why it was started. The initiation of the day is described in several sources as a mystery, but it is positively anticipated as one of those curious special days that people like to reflect on and use as inspiration. Maggy Müller from Vienna is definitely one of them, and the insights into her work whet the appetite for eating outdoors. On the website at https://vienna-picnics.at/, the service for up to 20 people is described in detail, including what to expect in terms of decorations such as cushions for the picnic table, available dishes such as beef tartare pralines or a brunch box, and the contents of the safety kit including mosquito spray, sunscreen and a fire extinguisher.

The service with candles, porcelain plates and gold cutlery is literally not cheap. It's luxurious from the decor and dishes, and it costs per person as much as dining in a better restaurant. But considering the efforts of the event planner to give your guests a nice time with food and drink under the free ceiling, the prices are reasonable.
