 Fashion.at researched the latest outdoor dining trends and came across Villeroy & Boch's press release on the brand's style recommendations for preparing an elegant summer table setting in the garden or on the patio. The German company (founded in 1748) presented in its outdoor trend release earthenware in organic shapes with reactive glaze for a unique pottery look in colors inspired by nature. The release was sent out to coincide with the start of the warmer season and included a series of images featuring rustic pottery. The products are explicitly designed for outdoor living experiences, from beachside gatherings to cozy patio dinners. At the heart of Villeroy & Boch's presentation are three distinct collections: Perlemor, Crafted and Lave. Each series draws inspiration from the natural world, with Perlemor evoking the serenity of Scandinavian coastlines through its subtle shades of sand and coral. Crafted blends Nordic simplicity with playful tones like Blueberry and Denim, while Lave captures the organic beauty of nature with reactive glazes that reflect the depths of the ocean, the brightness of the blue sky, and the richness of forested landscapes. The focus of the pottery-inspired aesthetic is on the unique appearance of each individual piece, achieved through the reactive glaze and the organic shapes. In the images provided by Villeroy & Boch, the services are paired with colored glasses from the company's 'Like Glass' line, which consists of four shapes currently available in the colors Ice, Sage, Apricot, Grape and Lavender. It's recommended to mix and match pieces of different colors to "convey a sense of peace and serenity that can be found only in nature," as Villeroy & Boch describes, adding that "... a few handpicked flowers arranged in Lave Home vases will create even more summery feelings at the table." On display are the Perlermore Hurricane lamp, the water glasses from the 'Like Glass' line in the colors Sage and Ice, and a crystal glass pitcher from the 'Boston' series. |
