Cartoon artists' views on peace

From 26 January 2014 until 15 January 2015, Karikaturmuseum Krems in Lower Austria will present cartoons of the peace dove. The works by caricaturists and illustrators represent critical reflections upon peace from the 1950s until today such as the UN-peace dove standing in a bullet rain or the white bird between two military aircraft bombs (images on this page). In early January, Fashionoffice previewed some of the sketches which will be presented at the museum. The first impression is that the pacifistic dove is mainly in big trouble but stays sovereign - and alive.
