Rising Austrian art star Jürgen Norbert Fux' work will be presented at Art Salzburg Contemporary (19 - 21 Oct)

At this year's international fair Art Salzburg Contemporary & Antiques International, around 40 to 50 galleries, art dealers will present design objects ranging from Art Deco to Postmodernism and art works by illustrious names like Andy Warhol or Roy Lichtenstein as well as emerging new art stars from Austria such as photo artist Jürgen Norbert Fux. The artist, born 1975 in Anif nearby the city of Salzburg, is part of the "bustling Salzburger Society" such as described at the artist's website where an introduction into the work focusing on portraits is published: "Inspired by his previous profession as a butcher, the artist Juergen Fux aims to focus within his art to build a connection between humans and animals," (source: resume). Jürgen Norbert Fux' work depicts not so much the people's faces; it reveals what's under the outer skin.

Art Salzburg will happen in time with the International Classic Car Exhibition at Messezentrum Salzburg.
