Outdoor outfitter Vaude sets sign against hate speech, violence, racism and joins #StopHateForProfit campaign

The campaign #StopHateForProfit was started in US after structural racism peaked once again followed by postings on social media and the reaction of Facebook. In the first step, advertisers with focus on US suspended their advertising orders, now the initiative was continued globally. (The Guardian publishes closer details about how hate speech or controversial content can be defined to be automatically or by users detected, marked by moderators or machines for users or banned, and the campaign's partners and participating businesses like Unilever; article.)

Today, German outdoor outfitter Vaude - known for investments into environmentally friendly production and fair working conditions, announced to join the international #StopHateForProfit campaign for "encouraging Facebook to take stronger action against hateful, violent and racist content on its networks," such as it's stated at the press release.
