Registration is open for the Aerothlon sports (trailrunning, paragliding, mountainbiking) competition on 30 August in Wagrain-Kleinarl, Austria

In a video posted today (embedded below), professional pilot and Red Bull X-Alps athlete Paul Guschlbauer introduces into the upcoming hike & fly competition 'Aerothlon' which happens for the first time in Wagrain-Kleinarl (Austrian federal state Salzburg). On 30th August, around 50 participants will start with trailrunning, continue the race via paragliders (single or tandem) and in the last etappe on mountain bikes. It's announced that the Aerothlon takes place every two years in Wagrain-Kleinarl - alternating with Red Bull X-Alps.

The starting places are limited to 50 this year; it's possible to participate solo, in a tandem or as a relay team. Registration at wagrain-kleinarl.at/aerothlon.
