Traveling design fair blickfang continues its tour and previews autumn with some interior design highlights

Europe is in reopening mode! The pandemic isn't over yet but people have learned to control it. Currently, the lifting of travel restrictions is on going and organizers have started to announce dates of upcoming events such as blickfang, the largest design fair which travels in the German language countries Switzerland, Germany and Austria. It will be the 18th time that blickfang presents international designers (furniture, jewelry, fashion, accessories,...) this autumn in Vienna. The dates - 9 to 11 October - were reminded recently with a post on Facebook (embedded below) with call to participate in the exhibition at MAK - Museum of Applied Arts Vienna.

The application form for Basel 2-4 Oct, Vienna 9-11 Oct, Leipzig 23-25 Oct,... is published in English / Deutsch.


Images: Through the years, blickfang has extended its online shop. The latest media release concerned interior items for creating a comfortable atmosphere with warm lights, soft blankets and artful objects reflecting the colors of autumn. Fashion.at selected some pieces and added face masks inspired by Bauhaus from the blickfang shop.

The non-medical face masks in Bauhaus inspired design by Vienna-based label LiNUSCH are made from certified organic cotton. The two versions can be found at blickfang-designshop.com.

The orange 'Konos Helios' and sand 'Konos Sahara' colored floor lamps by German design label milopárda are made of wood, textile and metal.

The textile artwork 'Diefenbach' by German design label hinzkunst can be applied to the wall or used as picnic blanket or bed cover.
