Art made street worthy in Vienna: Views at the range of fashion, jewelry,... at the shop of KHM (Kunsthistorisches Museum) and the art history museum's new street food pop-up

Since 4 June, the KHM Pop-up in front of the entry to the museum at the Maria-Theresien-Platz offers Viennese dishes refined with a touch of high cuisine and fused with cosmopolitan taste such as the pancake named 'Wiener Klassik' with ham, cheese, onions, walnuts,... which is spiced with sweet chilli mayonnaise. Other pancakes are made with wasabi or truffle mayonnaise. The KHM Pop-up (until September) is run by 'Gourmet', which is the gastronomy partner of the café and restaurant inside the museum. The gastro news were published together with the announcement of the exhibition of paintings depicting nature under the title 'Summer Breeze' (embedded Facebook post below). Previews of paintings with descriptions are published already as an introduction online (Deutsch / English). The exhibition of the original works at the museum is a good chance to train the eyes for seeing new facets of light in the interplay with the elements, the clouds, water and earth's surfaces through the perception of the artists' views. Art is one of the ways to see the world with different eyes!

On occasion of the news, Fashion.at visited the shop with a range reaching from classical museum souvenirs to interesting art related street worthy items such as a ring that was created after a portrait from the 17th century or t-shirts with art prints of paintings like the 'Tower of Babel' by Pieter Bruegel. The painting is one of the famous artworks located at the Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien.
