Every year again in the height of the summer holiday season when people are flying around the world to far away beach paradises and to foreign countries for explorations of cultural treasures there is one topic that brings them at least mentally back to their home soil: The middle of the summer is the time when the future for the youngest generations must be drawn as a blueprint.
In 2021, the second summer of the Covid-19 pandemic, it seems as if the population's health precautions - keyword vaccinations - will become game deciding for the realisation of teachers' and parents' plans for children's education including the visit of school buildings as well as the participation of individually booked art, sports or language training courses of the upcoming autumn/winter school semester. In pandemic times it becomes once more obvious that how the future will look like isn't an individual decision only. It's a sort of Gesamtkunstwerk by all of us. |
