Tattoo and street art inspired artist Jonas Deubelbeiss presents works at the new art retail platform Galartery.com curated by Johanna Penz of Art Innsbruck and Art Salzburg

In early summer this year, the Austrian contemporary art destinations Art Innsbuck and Art Salzburg were extended into the internet with the art retail platform Galartery.com where art from various disciplines can be bought directly online. By following the motto of Galartery to make art affordable, the prices of the artworks - paintings, drawings, graphical and design works, objects, photographs, limited editions,... are calculated by the artists. The online retail and transport are organised by Galartery. Through the summer, Galartery made the new art destination public by throwing light on selected art disciplines or artists such as with the latest press release concerning the artworks by Swiss artist Jonas Deubelbeiss and his lively portraits on canvas of personalities who have impressed him. Jonas Deubelbeiss started his art career on human skin as tattoo artist and on streets as graffiti artist. His portraits appear like a merger of applied art for creating a very personal self-expression through tattoos and the immanent dynamic of abstraction of street art with which a statement is made.
