Currently, Fashion.at's chatbot Cytara is running a quiz about hiking clothes and what to pack in a backpack for a one-day hike. The chatbot's topics and quizzes change from time to time. The quiz about what to wear and what to pack in a backpack is a fun game to prepare for a hike in the mountains, which is a popular activity in Austria, especially in late summer and autumn. Preparation is essential for a relaxing and successful hike, which should be planned in terms of duration and length, including the calculation of the altitude to be overcome, according to the physical condition. A practical tool for planning hiking tours according to your own abilities is provided on the online platform of the Austrian Hiking Villages (Wanderdörfer) at www.wanderdoerfer.at/wanderwege/ (the page is available in German with an English translation function). Wanderdörfer was founded in 1991. The participating regions are certified with the Austrian Hiking Quality Seal. The association of these regions with a focus on the quality of hiking experiences curates the collection and preparation of information on hiking trails suitable for different skill levels. The tool at the above mentioned URL allows users to filter hikes based on duration, length, altitude in eight federal states and with an additional filter for specific regions across Austria (excluding the ninth federal state Vienna). The result is a list of matching routes. Selecting one will open a new page with downloadable GPS track and a detailed PDF tour description including a map of the trail as well as further contact numbers for inquiries. In addition to the interactive trail finder - the vibrant heart of the digital service - the Wanderdörfer today released a press information about the latest content on the website, featuring eleven autumn trail tips. The recommended trails are mainly of longer duration, ideal for experienced hikers looking for an immersive experience. However, those who prefer shorter - around 2.5 to 3 hours - and easier hikes will also find some tours.
