7 August 2024  Today, the campaign images for the upcoming Vienna Awards for Fashion & Lifestyle were released, along with information about the making of. In front of the camera stands Kiera Chaplin, the granddaughter of Charlie Chaplin. Kiera Chaplin was honored as Style Icon of the Year at the Vienna Awards 2010 (https://www.viennaawards.at/single-post/vienna-awards-2010). Behind the camera is Austrian photographer Mato Johannik, known for his work on numerous fashion productions, including last year's campaign for Vienna Fashion Week. The Vienna Awards for Fashion & Lifestyle are not only adorned with illustrious names, also the winners in the various categories match the glamour of the representatives and the locations such as the MAK Museum of Applied Arts, Palais Liechtenstein or Palais Esterházy in Vienna. The latter was the location for this year's 'Together We Are One' campaign, organized by Glam Communications. The team included videographer HOOKfilms, make-up artist Ana Jaksic, fashion stylist Anna Steinkellner and hair stylist Yochai Mevorach. Kiera Chaplin portrays the goddess Justitia in the campaign, balancing two large balloons, symbolizing the harmonization of opposing worlds, as introduced in the press release. The balloons, one black and one white, represent yin and yang, or light and darkness. Justitia's role in the context of the community-oriented campaign slogan, which may evoke legendary sayings such as 'People Have The Power', was not further explained. It's been announced that the Vienna Awards gala with fashion and awards shows will take place on October 16, 2024, at the Hofburg.
