#Menswear in classical American #tailor style by Joseph Abboud at MBFWNew York

On 9 February 2012, men's, kid's and interior label Joseph Abboud (Creative Director Bernardo Rojo) presented the FW2012/13 collection during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week New York in classical American tailor style which brings Eliot Ness' and Capone's 1930s Chicago into one's mind.

The label was founded by the American/Lebanese designer Joseph Abboud. Abboud's success in the 80s/90s (two times CFDA awarded) has left its tracks even in literature - like in Bret Easton Ellis 'American Psycho' and in the designer's own book where he has written about the trademark law suit concerning his name. He has sold the rights to use his name as a trademark in 2000 for 65 million Dollar. On Fashion Law Wiki, the case has received an extensive review
and centers around the possibilities of "a new composition by designer Joseph Abboud" without trademark infringement.
