Austrian e-bike brand Geero provides on occasion of its 5th anniversary insights into the production in cooperation with regional suppliers, work forces and the company's climate neutrality activities based on three pillars: Prevention, Reduction, Compensation

The latest Geero 2 e-bike in puristic retro-sport design with leather, wood elements, LC display and discreetly placed removable battery is described in test reports by specialists as a light (from 16.60 to 18.90 kg - depending on the model), comfortable bicycle with powerful engine.

The Austrian brand Geero was founded in 2016 by the brothers Michael and Tomy Rath. The bikes are manufactured by a growing team at the partnering company Bikee in Wagna in the South of Styria and distributed via the Austrian online shop provider Niceshops. On occasion of the 5th anniversary, Geero provides insights into the production at Bikee where the manufacturing team has grown in the last years due to the brand's environmentally-friendly strategy to work more with regional suppliers and labour forces.

By running almost all assembly steps in Wagna, Geero has reduced the ecological footprint once more because of shorter transport routes for the production. Currently, 22 people are working on assembling the e-bikes; more than 40 are employed. At geero.bike/info/sustainable-development-at-niceshops, the company lists its climate neutrality activities for the prevention, reduction and compensation of CO2 in the production process and distribution such as the use of green electricity, environmentally friendly shipping materials free from plastics, or the support of eco-social projects.
