Sports star, fashion entrepreneur, developer of skis Marcel Hirscher participates in the motorcycle offroad challenge Red Bull Erzbergrodeo from 16 to 19 June in Styria, Austria

Marcel Hirscher is with several Olympic medals and winner of numerous world cups, world championships the most successful athlete in the history of alpine ski competitions. After he ended his active career as professionell ski racer, he co-founded 'The Mountain Studio' brand of performance wear for skiing, outdoor activities, travel and founded the company 'Van Deer' where he develops skis which are used by a growing team of athletes.

Now, the since 1995 every year held Red Bull Erzbergrodeo event announced that motorcycle enthusiast Marcel Hirscher joins on a Husqvarna TE 300 as one of around 1500 riders the offroad sports challenge at the mining area 'Erzberg' in Styria. According to the information by the organizers, 13 women will participate in this year's challenge. For Marcel Hirscher, winning is not the premiere goal in the competition which is part of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship. Hirscher sees the Red Bull Erzbergrodeo as the ultimate adventure. He says in the press release that it's about the experience of a seemingly impossible challenge. The motto of his participation is 'the journey is the goal' and that he tries to have as much fun as possible; every reached checkpoint is a success.
