Ucon Acrobatics, founded in 2001, is known for its minimalist bags and backpacks crafted from recycled materials and innovative textiles. With B-Corp certification and a commitment to circularity, the brand integrates ecological and social sustainability into every step of its design and production processes. Its ethos—"minimal design, minimal emission"—is as clear as its clean silhouettes. Orbitkey, born from a Melbourne design challenge in 2013, is known for clever everyday carry solutions. With its patented locking system, the brand turned key organization into a modular, silent experience. Their tools reduce clutter, bringing order to pockets and bags with intelligent design and magnetic engineering.

A Modular Duo for the Fast Lane

The Ucon Acrobatics x Orbitkey collaboration consists of two key pieces: the Urban Sling and the Utility Clip, both designed to serve the needs of fast-moving city dwellers. The Urban Sling is made from Ucon Acrobatics' signature ECO-RFLX-900 fabric—a reflective textile developed to enhance nighttime visibility. Compact, sharp-edged, and secured close to the body, the sling bag not only carries daily essentials but adds a visual layer of safety for cyclists navigating traffic after dusk. Meanwhile, the Utility Clip from Orbitkey, enhanced with the FIDLOCK® magnetic quick-release system, can be attached either outside to the bag strap or tucked securely inside a Ucon Acrobatics bag. Brighter Than Required: Legal Reflections and Beyond

A stylish accessory is one thing—but safety remains a non-negotiable aspect of cycling in urban traffic. According to Austrian traffic regulations, bicycles must include several reflective elements (details at oesterreich.gv.at):

• A white front reflector (often integrated into the front light)
• A red rear reflector
• Reflectors or reflective stripes on the pedals
• Spoke reflectors (or reflective tires/strips)

While the law defines a minimum, there's no regulation against doing more. In dense city traffic where visibility can mean safety, a little extra reflection can be a quiet act of self-care.
