Public transportation service Wiener Linien presents young musicians with a series of outdoor concerts on various locations in Vienna

Three years ago, Wiener Linien has started to invite musicians to perform live at the stations of the U-Bahn, the Viennese subway. Now, the public transportation service (underground, tram, bus lines) extended its 'U-Bahn Stars' music activities by additional locations nearby stations of tramways, buses,.. in parks such as Stadtpark or Sigmund-Freud-Park and by 25 new musicians. Currently, around 75 solo artists and bands collaborate with Wiener Linien and perform under commission live in public space.

One of the 'U-Bahn Stars' is Agnes Verano. At the U-Bahn Stars FB page, the musician is presented with introduction into her work. Agnes Verano plays piano, harp, is songwriter and studies composition in Vienna. Her music is described as otherworldly compositions of feather-light tones that evoke deep emotions. At the video below - the first music video of Agnes Verano, the musician plays her composition 'Man of My Life'.

According to the wienerlinien.at schedule (fast checked today), the next performances by Agnes Verano will happen on 29 May at Stadtpark, 30 May at Naschmarkt, 1 June at Karlsplatz,...
