Eva Poleschinski designed the outfit of the Girls' Choir of the Wiener Sängerknaben for their very first performance with the Boys' Choir at the New Year's Concert of the Wiener Philharmoniker
The very first appearance of the Girls' Choir on stage together with the Boys' Choir at the Vienna Philharmonic's New Year's Concert was announced by the Wiener Sängerknaben with the presentation of fashion sketches of a gala dressing (on view on this page) and a blue sailor-style uniform by Eva Poleschinski for the girls' outfits. The award winning designer ('Designer of the Year' of the Vienna Awards for Fashion & Lifestyle) is known for her red carpet couture which appeared already at events like the Oscars and Golden Globes. For the Wiener Sängerknaben Girls' Choir, Eva Poleschinski created a maritime concert outfit matching the sailor suits of the boys. Financed is the new look by Austrian entrepreneur, investor and soon-to-be father of a second daughter Klemens Hallmann as a contribution to the support of equal opportunities already from an early age.
