First look at the outfits of the representatives of Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest Teya & Salena for the performance of 'Who The Hell Is Edgar?'

On 11 May, at the second semi-final of the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool (9-13 May), Austria's Teya & Salena will perform their song 'Who The Hell Is Edgar' in shiny latex outfits designed in collaboration with 'Haderlump Atelier Berlin' designer Johann Erhardt and Berlin-based creative director and stylist Maximilian D'Antonio.

The colors black, white and red are the choice of the musicians, who are not new to the stage of music competitions, as noted on the website of the Eurovision Song Contest, eurovision.tv/participant/teya-and-salena-2023, where the video and the lyrics, referring to the poet Edgar Allan Poe, are published. Teya and Salena qualified independently of each other in several competitions and reached high rankings, but lost in previous years in favor of other singers. The song 'Who The Hell Is Edgar?', written by singer-songwriter duo Teya & Salena, was developed from the duo's experience as female songwriters in an industry that is still male-dominated and "doesn't give women enough credit for their hard work and expertise", as explained on Eurovision.tv.

The Eurovision Song Contest is considered the world's largest live music event on TV. It's organized by the European Broadcasting Union, an alliance of public service media organizations. In Austria, the live broadcast of the 67th Eurovision Song Contest under the motto 'United By Music' can be viewed on ORF 1. This year, 37 songs will compete in Liverpool from 9 until 13 May. The live broadcast will end with impressions from Liverpool such as the ESC – Aftershow from the Tate Museum (schedule at der.orf.at/unternehmen/aktuell/esc136.html).
