As Eurovision fever builds, with most national selections across participating countries currently in preparation, Malta's spotlight shines on Aidan Cassar. The young Maltese pop sensation, known simply as Aidan, has won a devoted following with popular singles like "Ritmu" and "Naħseb Fik," blending catchy melodies and multilingual hooks.

Now, Aidan's "Bella" enters the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2026, vying to represent Malta at the grand event in Vienna. The semi-final airs on January 15, with the final on January 17. "Bella" weaves English, Maltese, and Italian lyrics, proudly showcasing Aidan's native tongue while highlighting his versatile vocal and stylistic range.

The track delves into the turmoil of a complicated relationship—marked by emotional intensity, longing, and confusion. Its title, meaning "beautiful," contrasts poignantly with the sense of strained affection and fading harmony, capturing the ache of love that no longer feels as beautiful as it once did.

Watch the official video on YouTube. If Aidan wins MESC 2026, he would go on to represent Malta at Eurovision in Vienna: First Semi-Final (May 12), Second Semi-Final (May 14), or Grand Final (May 16).
