Fashion.at Watch Tip: Music Videos from Mumford & Sons, Lana Del Rey and Twenty One Pilots – Sound & Visual Highlights

Fashion.at Watch Tip magazine spread: 'Fresh sounds and striking visuals' headline with play icon on pastel page.

Fashion.at has just added three new tracks to the playlist – and each one now comes paired with its official music video. These releases from established artists merge memorable audio with deliberate, well-executed visual storytelling, pulling listeners and viewers into fully realised worlds built from sound and picture alike.

Mumford & Sons Bring Soul to Folk Roots

Mumford & Sons released their single "The Banjo Song" in early January. It was the third preview track for their sixth studio album, Prizefighter, which arrived today on February 20, 2026, via Island Records and Gentlemen of the Road. The official music video premiered on February 19, 2026.

The track delivers a bittersweet, soulful folk sound with layered instrumentation and emotive vocals. Co-written by Aaron Dessner of The National and Jon Bellion, and produced by Dessner at Long Pond Studios, the lyrics center on themes of connection and support in difficult moments, with lines like "Did you call, did you fall, do you need someone?" building a reflective atmosphere.

Streets of Soul—a Bristol-based collective focused on funk and soul culture—cast the video entirely with real dancers from their club nights, including events like Bristol Northern Soul Club. No banjos appear on screen; instead, the performers' varied movements and energies convey joy and human links. This approach creates an authentic, community-driven visual that complements the song's emotional core without relying on literal elements.

Lana Del Rey Shares Intimate Domestic Scenes

Lana Del Rey dropped "White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter" on February 17, 2026, as the third single from her forthcoming tenth studio album, Stove. The full album release is expected around May 2026, influenced by vinyl production schedules. The music video followed on February 18, 2026.

The song is a minimalist, gothic-country ballad featuring sparse arrangements, orchestral strings, and a sample from Ella Fitzgerald's "Laura." Co-written with her husband Jeremy Dufrene, sister Chuck Grant, brother-in-law Jason Pickens, and produced by Del Rey, Jack Antonoff, and Drew Erickson, the lyrics explore domestic bliss and personal change, referencing everyday moments like riding a John Deere mower and cooking, alongside whimsical phrases such as "Whoopsie daisy, yoo-hoo."

Shot in a self-made, home-video style, the clip moves through a cluttered garage and a snowy yard created with a machine. Del Rey appears cooking on stoves, with playful oven scenes and a cameo from Dufrene. Intercut vintage animation from 1930s Betty Boop cartoons adds a layer of whimsy. The intimate, slightly surreal visuals align closely with the song's personal, love-focused narrative.

Twenty One Pilots Explore Depth Through Animation

Twenty One Pilots issued the single version of "Drag Path" on February 17, 2026. The track first appeared as an exclusive bonus on the limited digital expansion Breach: Digital Remains in September 2025, tied to their 2025 album Breach. It functions as a narrative epilogue. The accompanying music video also launched on February 17, 2026.

The music delves into grief, resilience, and traces of struggle, using the "drag path" metaphor for intentional marks left behind—"a drag path etched in the surface as evidence I left there on purpose." It connects to the band's ongoing lore, touching on capture, escape, and themes of faith amid adversity, delivered with layered, atmospheric production.

Directed by Tobias Gundorff Boesen, the stop-motion animation adapts his 2010 short film Out of a Forest. Forest creatures, including a rabbit facing trials, unfold in detailed, handcrafted sequences. The visual storytelling adds symbolic weight, mirroring the song's introspective lyrics through evocative imagery of trauma and endurance. This artistic choice enhances the track's emotional resonance effectively.

Mumford & Sons and Twenty One Pilots on Tour

Both, Mumford & Sons and Twenty One Pilots are currently on tour in 2026, following the release of their latest projects. Mumford & Sons are supporting their new album Prizefighter with the Prizefighter Tour, featuring dates across Australia, the USA—including Innings Festival in Tempe, AZ (February 20–22)—and upcoming shows in Europe, such as at Berlin's Waldbühne in July.

Twenty One Pilots, meanwhile, are in the midst of their Breach Tour, with a packed festival schedule across Europe this summer. A key highlight is their performance at the FM4 Frequency Festival in St. Pölten, Austria, where they are scheduled to play on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Green Park (festival dates: August 20–22). This appearance stands out among their other festival slots, including Hurricane/Southside and Rock Werchter earlier in the season.
