"What Is Real?"

...(or 'Was ist Wirklichkeit' in German) is written on the poster of the upcoming movie 'Total Recall' (release in August 2012). The screenplay of 'Total Recall' about reality and memories is inspired by the short-story 'We Can Remember It For You Wholesale' by US science fiction author Philip K. Dick.

"Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away." once said Philip K. Dick who is known for fantastic-action-horror stories about the definition of 'human' (such as the replicants in 'Blade Runner' became aware of their existence) and about the storage performance of the human brain for memories such as in 'Total Recall'.

The movie 'Total Recall' is about bought memories. Already in 1990, Philip K. Dick's material inspired the movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the main role; in 2012, factory worker Douglas Quaid alias super-spy Hauser is played by Colin Farrell. The movie begins with buying memories of a perfect vacation - but then everything goes wrong and Quaid's memories of being Hauser come back and the hunt by the police starts...

With Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale (as Douglas Quaid's wife), Jessica Biel (as a rebel who collaborates with Hauser) in the main roles. Costume designer of the movie is Zagreb/Croatia born Sanja Milkovic Hays who is known for movies like 'The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor' (2008) or 'Blade' (1998). In 2013, 'The Fast and the Furious 6' with costumes by Sanja Milkovic Hays will be released.
