Fashion.at tour to Christmas 2019 markets and a book & spice store in Vienna

At wien.gv.at, this year’s Christmas markets at the city of Vienna are listed. The directory starts with some markets recently visited by Fashion.at.

It was the first Saturday of the winter market 2019 season, when Fashion.at toured through the Inner City (1st district) and the elegant area Am Hof and Freyung. At Freyung, the beautiful Altwiener Christkindlmarkt attracts with its nice style of X-mas decorations and the fine gastronomic offer which reaches from salty and sweet culinary to special season beverages with and without alcohol.

On this Saturday vis à vis of the Old Viennese market, the Biobauernmarkt offered crafts, food, oils, wine,... . It can be found there every Friday and Saturday. The official Advent Biobauernmarkt opens on 22 November.

The Weihnachtsmarkt Am Hof is with 76 booths - incl. 15 booths for culinary with inviting bar tables, the largest in this area; open every day until 23 December. Eye-catching are some of the arts & crafts booths such as one with mechanical wood toys or beauty & home decoration like the booth with products made from aromatic lavender.

Behind the store at a small room with some tables and seats, guest can drink spicy beverages such as hot chocolate spiced with Babette’s charming chili, coriander, vanilla, cardamom,... blend ‘Azteken Schoko’.
