Fashion.at tip for a power dessert in the afternoon: Golden milk enriched with oat pulp, banana and pineapple or in variation with peaches

Recipes for golden milk are in its basics relatively the same: Ginger, curcuma, pepper and olive oil. Fashion.at released last November a tip for a golden milk version with blueberries. For the following afternoon power dessert, the basic recipe of golden milk was adapted and enriched with fruits and oat; last mentioned is among other benefits good for the nerves, hair and skin. Fruits and grains like oat are also currently listed at the WHO 'Nutrition advice for adults during the COVID-19 outbreak'.


Ingredients for 4 cups and preparation in a 1 liter measuring jug for the microwave (additional tools: knife, grater, tablespoon, cooking spoon):

  • Add ½ tablespoon curcuma spiced with black pepper into the jug
  • 4 tablespoons oat pulp
  • Peeled ginger in the amount of ca. 1 tablespoon and grate it into the jug
  • 600 ml milk
  • Grate a small amount of the peel of a lemon; slice the fruit into two halves; add some drops of the lemon when the oat-fruit-golden-milk mixture begins to cook
  • ½ tablespoon honey
  • Cut 3 pineapple slices into small pieces and add them with a shot pineapple juice to the jug; cut 2 other slices into small pieces and partition them to the glasses (before the dessert with the fluidity of a warm pudding is ready)
  • Cut 1 banana into thin slices (use when possible for the sweetness a very ripe fruit) and add it

Now, the mixture is ready for the microwave. Stir every 2 minutes; let it cook for around one minute. Pour the power dessert into the glasses filled already with pineapple pieces. Serve it warm.


Variation:
The recipe can be varied easily such as with peaches (on view at the image). The honey was left out, the lemon was replaced by orange, the pineapple in the mixture with banana and golden milk was replaced by peaches. What's the same: Pieces of pineapple on the bottom of the glasses are the final exotic freshness kick of the dessert.
