Exhibition of high jewellery by Aenea on occasion of Salzburg Easter Festival in April at Hotel Sacher Salzburg

Jewellery from the 'Masterpiece' collection by Aenea will be exhibited during Salzburg Easter Festival (Salzburger Osterfestspiele) from 13 until 20 April at Hotel Sacher Salzburg. The festival was founded by Austrian conductor Herbert von Karajan in 1967. Christian Thielemann, since 2013 Artistic Director of Salzburg Easter Festival, is the conductor of the Richard Wagner opera 'Meistersinger von Nürnberg', the main work at this year's programme. (Festival trailer with insights into the programme below.) 'Meistersinger von Nürnberg' was written and composed by Richard Wagner and bases upon characters who really existed in the 16th century. The guild of master singers of Nuremberg consisted mainly of master craftsmen from various fields such as shoe makers, goldsmiths,... - even in Richard Wagner's opera which premiered in 1868.

Christian Thielemann has conducted the opera already 40 to 50 times and points out at a video at osterfestspiele-salzburg.at that this Wagner opera is - among other reasons, special as nobody dies.
