Motto of Diversity Ball and photo competition for a free ticket in collaboration with Sign Time, developer of 'Simax' sign language avatar software

The next 'Diversity Ball' will happen on 4 May at Kursalon in Vienna. One month before the ball, the program under this year's motto 'Maskerade - Be What You Want To Be' will be presented officially with stars of the musical 'Bodyguard' as well as upcycling stylists of the clothes collecting socially active organization Humana (fights against poverty and for equality by supporting projects in the fields education, health, protection of the environment,...). The announcement of the ball pre-event sounds interesting!

Fashion.at took a closer look at the information already published at the website for the 12th edition of the ball which is organized since the beginning by 'equalizent', a company dedicated to provide trainings, counseling, products in the fields deafness, hearing loss, and sign language.

Already at the first page of diversityball.at (fast checked today), the invitation to join the photo competition for a free ticket appears. Collaboration partner of the competition is Sign Time. The Vienna-based company develops products such as Simax, a sign language avatar program for the translation of content such as spoken words in film, TV-broadcasts, museum guides, traffic reports, etc. into 3D-animated sign language.

For joining the competition, a portrait of oneself has to be captured in front of the Diversity Ball butterfly at the showcase of Sign Time at Schottenring 33 in Vienna's first district or at the display case of equalizent at Obere Augartenstraße 20, 2nd district, and posted with the hashtags #EXPRESSYOURSELF19 #DIVERSITYBALL via Instagram. Submission deadline is the 24th of April.

It's not explicitly mentioned, but why not posing with sign language message.
