Photographer Chloe Sheppard teamed up with Monki for #nofilter underwear campaign accompanied by model interviews about being oneself and self-love

Three days ago, London-based photographer and filmmaker Chloe Sheppard posted the first preview image of the latest #nofilter campaign for street style label Monki on Instagram. Today, the images of the underwear (triangle lace bras, high-waist lace briefs) collection were released.

Asked in an interview on monki.com about her work and why many people struggle with self-acceptance, Chloe Sheppard looks at social media, being 'perfect' and the market's pressure to be 'appealing' with a critical eye.

It's not the first #nofilter campaign by Monki; the label released already in early 2017 #nofilter images (article).

fig.: Image of the #nofilter 2019 campaign. The underwear is available from 11 February at selected Monki stores and online.

On view are four protagonists who speak in interviews at the accompanying lookbook about the moments when they're feeling to be oneself and how they define self-love concerning the own body and personality. Following the own rules and accepting the own self is central for the women. Asked about tips to develop self-love and how to handle haters' negative comments, the answers show that one of the first steps is to accept that nobody will be liked by everyone and that haters are the producers of their own negativity.
