Swarovski Kristallwelten Store Vienna celebrates 10th anniversary; looks back and forth to collaborations with artists, designers like Susanne Bisovsky, Iris van Herpen

Currently in the 10th year of Swarovski Kristallwelten store in Vienna, designer Susanne Bisovsky's haute couture, fairy tale installation 'Northern Lights' is on view at the store windows at Kärntner Strasse 24 in the center of the city. The installation was set on stage already in November and can be viewed until April. It's the second time that Vienna-based Susanne Bisovsky collaborates with Swarovski Kristallwelten for artistic window displays. The first collaboration happened in 2016 under the theme 'Viennese Chic'; the salon-like setting made think of times of Sigmund Freud at the turn of the 19th to the 20th century. An article about Susanne Bisovsky's works for Swarovski Kristallwelten Vienna is published at the latest (Winter 2018/19) edition #4 of the brand's own seasonal 'Kristallwelten Magazin'.

Through the years, Fashion.at visited several premieres of window displays such as the colorful 'Life Is Beautiful' fashion-jewelry installation by Manish Arora in 2017. On occasion of the presentation of Indian designer Manish Arora's displays, the first issue of 'Kristallwelten Magazin' (#1, Spring/Summer 2017) was released. At the latest edition, the crystal worlds magazine provides a preview of the forthcoming (from April 2019) installation by Dutch art-fashion designer Iris van Herpen. At the interview, Iris van Herpen speaks about her sources of inspiration and the relationship of dance and fashion, movement and transformation.
