Traveling design fair blickfang cooperated with the Health Department of the City of Vienna for Covid-19 security measures at the event from 9 - 11 October at MAK Museum of Applied Arts Vienna

From today, the more tightened Covid-19 regulation is effective in Austria. The measures are developed from the most important three rules to prevent infections: Keep distance, wear a mask and wash or disinfect hands. On this basis, organizers are currently planning events for visitors by following the recommendations of the official health departments of the country and its federal states. The organizers of the upcoming design fair blickfang from 9 to 11 October for example, have applied a special Covid-19 security and hygiene concept already at the traveling event's Basel (Switzerland) edition in July. For the fair in Vienna, blickfang cooperated with the Health Department of the City of Vienna and worked out a made-to-measure security and hygiene concept for the event at MAK Museum of Applied Arts.

Some of the measures are that tickets are only offered in advance, the amount of visitors at the same time at the halls is limited according to the current hygiene regulations, and a wayfinding system on the floor navigates visitors in one-way direction from the entrances to the exits. Disinfectant dispensers will be placed in the whole area and the various halls; visitors have to wear masks. Tickets and information concerning security is published at blickfang.com/internationale-designmesse/besucher/wien (fast checked today).
