Fashion school of the City of Vienna 'Modeschule Hetzendorf' presented student collections created to the theme 'Utopia' with the 30-minutes film 'on screen' at the Metro Kino

The final shows of students at the garden of palace Hetzendorf, where the fashion school of the City of Vienna is located, happen each year in summer. Due the pandemic, the classical runway shows were replaced by alternative formats. Last year, student works were shown at one of Vienna's ULF trams.

This year, the fashion school teamed up with Vienna-based film production Jenseide - known for music videos, documentaries and commercials for sport, culture and the fashion business - for an around 30-minutes film. The fashion film 'on screen' with art inspired surrealist scenes and dance routines to the electronic music by Austrian composer Martin Mitterstieler for the presentation of the clothing, knitwear, textiles, headwear, shoes and bags, accessories collections created by the students of Modeschule Hetzendorf to the school's theme 2021/2022 'Utopia' premiered last week on 23 June at the Metro Kino in Vienna together with the exhibition of selected pieces at the cinema. Several hours ago, the film was released on vimeo.com.
