Fashion.at recently visited the Dorotheum on the occasion of the auction house's Contemporary Week, where seemingly tout Vienne appeared for a preview of the art collection. The next date is already marked in the calendar. On December 7, 2024, the Palais Dorotheum in Vienna will be transformed into a magical Christmas shopping destination. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Dorotheum's jewelers invite visitors to discover a curated selection of gifts, jewelry, and exclusive holiday offers. For the first time, a pop-up Christmas boutique will be set up in the large auction hall on the first floor, featuring exquisite jewelry, festive decorations from the Dorotheum Gallery, and products from renowned brands such as terry toweling specialist Vossen (which recently launched a new spa collection, article), the Austrian Tyrol-based brand Aromapflege Evelyn Deutsch, and the cosmetics line Nioblu, which was developed in Swiss laboratories. In addition to shopping, the event will include a creative social program. Anna Heuberger of 'we love handmade' will offer DIY gift-wrapping workshops and sustainable packaging ideas. There will also be expert lectures on topics such as lab-grown diamonds and the history of the Dorotheum's own Mon Palais jewelry collection. It's announced that visitors can enjoy the festive sounds of saxophonist Maria Kofler, Christmas punch and sweet delicacies from the in-house café, as well as plant decorations - magnificent poinsettias - from the sustainable production of the Viennese urban concept store chain 'Salon Verde', which is also known for its practical seasonal tips for plants at home (article about Salon Verde's trend release on the air-purifying qualities of plants earlier this year).
